We were one of the first independent accredited Modern Apprenticeship training providers in the UK.

We offer specialised plant and machinery operations (SPMO) apprenticeship courses for individuals and companies as well as our in-house trainees. They are aimed at young people who have just completed their GCSEs and are an ideal way for young people to earn, learn and work at the same time.

We are happy to tailor our training to meet your company’s requirements.

All of our training is conducted by highly experienced and qualified staff, who have many years of field work under their belts, and know what it takes to turn a fledgling apprentice into a valuable member of the team.

Our SPMO apprenticeship courses consist of a 12-week teaching block in our dedicated training centre in Ruthin, followed by on-site work, either working for Jones Bros or the apprentice’s sponsor company.

Once training is completed the apprentice will be qualified to NVQ level 2. There are also a number of NVQ training courses trainees can follow having completed their apprenticeship.

Apprentices can also add to their training at college if they don’t have the GCSE grade C or above in maths.
