Jones Bros runs its own dedicated training and testing centre, providing accredited training courses in construction and plant operating skills. 

About half of the training we give is tailored for external companies or individuals who sign up independently.

Jones Bros offers a full range of CPCS accredited training and NVQs.  Training takes place at our purpose-designed testing suite in Ruthin or on-site, primarily at our quarry, on the Horseshoe Pass.

The company owns a wide range of plant, so our courses include training in less common
plant machinery such as crushers and 360º excavators, as well as dumper and digger training.

Jones Bros trainers all have many years’ experience in the construction industry, including as plant operators themselves.

Our courses take place regularly, and, as we also train Jones Bros employees, we never need to postpone courses due to a lack of numbers.

We match an individual’s experience and needs to the training opportunities available. This will ensure that everyone undertakes the course that best meets their needs and future potential.

Help to pay for training
Training grants may be available for CITB levy payers.  The Welsh Assembly Government also funds training under its ReAct  programme for people made redundant.  We will advise you who to contact.
